Smackfu Smackdown!
Greetings programs!
Well, Drew and I had a little pow-wow combined with a large amount of turkey, a dash of deathmatch and possibly an adult beverage or two, and had a very good time doing so.
So much so that we thought we might see if any of you smackfu readers would be interested in a little smackfu smackdown in the FPS area.
So here is the idea.
We will take a straw poll here and see who is who and what is what.
Interested in a little action with some old guys?
Lets set up a date, time and game.
My vote is for Halo (1 seeing as how I refuse to run that POS called Vista) CTF, because I have it and love it.
Rules are no one can be better than me… Well okay, that would leave my five year old and Drew as the remaining players so I guess you can be better than me but you have to at least pretend that I can play.
If no one wants to make any purchases we can even head over to Open Arena and hit up some open source quake action. Sure the graphics suck, but it still is a great game!
We’ll come up with rules if we can get something together.

I’m up for some Halo, got my copies the other day, one for me and one for the wife if she feels the need to take out some frustrations on someone, better you folks than me…
Us breaking out the games that weekend really made me wonder why I stopped playing, I’m really itching now to get Unreal Tournament III now.
How about some strategy games? Maybe something turn-based, like Civilization? Or maybe a nice real-time strategy game, like AoE?
Maybe we can set up at least one night a month, alternating between 1st person shooters and strategy?
