We are back with some more thoughts from the resident psychiatric patient.

I can’t in good conscience keep using Mr. Kings title, so I have changed it to something more original. I hope you approve.

1.  I think I too wish to know what sort of donut urgency would cause someone to sprint to Dunkin Donuts.

2. I think the Alec Baldwin Hulu commercial was easily the best of the Superbowl commercials.

3. I think that it would have been much more compelling if the Cardinals had won the Superbowl, But I am a “pull for the Underdog” kind of Guy.

4. I think it would be a lot easier to write more if I thought anyone had any interest in what I had to say. So, please feel free to comment.

5. I think it is rediculas that all the new decent alarm clocks have blue displays. They make me blind at night. Why are all of the red ones gone?

6. I think I am terrified of losing my job right now. I don’t think that I can find another one even though I am competent and qualified.

7. I think Chasing Amy is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It is a tragic love story that really tears at my heart. The scene where Allyssa is on stage singing, and Holden thinks she is serenading him is so very, very powerful when it unfolds completely. And the climax… I was so angry with Holden for being so painfully dense. Still, I continue to re-watch it. I think that these are the emotions that Shakespeare was going for when he wrote Romeo and Juliet. But the way Kevin Smith tells it hits far closer to home. Maybe it is just the modern language being clearer for me. It is definitely in my top 10 favorite films of all time.

8. In my usual completely random fashion, I think these are my top ten favorite films:

Star Trek: The Wrath of Kahn

Cars
Shawshank Redemption
Caddyshack

And I know if I wrote this tomorrow, there would be at least 5 different answers on there. And I just cant figure out how any other John Cusack movie is not on the list. I love all his movies! And Ghost Busters How is Ghost Busters not up there? There must be something wrong with me….

9. I think I’m a sucker for those B movies about the underdog sports/team movies. I love the feel good aspect even though they are generally corny and formula written. Stupid movies that no one else remembers. Like Long Shot and Side Out. I have got to be the only person I know who would remember seeing those movies repeatedly as a kid. (Cable didn’t have a great selection in the stone age)

10. I think if you are not a fan of the BigFanBoy livecast, you are missing something great.
A few weeks ago they had Mark Hamill on for one of the best interviews I have ever heard. I wish I had been able to call in, but the show time is late for us east coasters who have to work in the morning.
