Super Bowl XLII, favorite commercials

Published by drew under culture, funny, sports

Well, congrats to the N.Y. Giants on winning the Super Bowl this year. What a good game, it started out kind of slow, but the last half was great. I was kind of hoping that the Patriots would pull off a perfect season, but I’ve been a Giants fan since I was little as I grew up near NYC in Connecticut. Either team could have won that game and I would have been happy.

The commercials are always a fun part of the Super Bowl, my favorite this year had to be the E*Trade spot with the baby and clown.

You know, me and the boys were talkin’ about what to do with all this extra coin, and I was like, I’m rentin’ a clown. Heh-heh, and I did, Bobo here and uhh… I really underestimated the creepiness

Now that my friends, is just brilliantly funny… :D

There were a bunch of other great ads, some of my other favorites can be found after the jump.

Benny Lava!

apologies in advance to my Indian friends…

This has got to be one of the most ridiculous videos I’ve seen in a while. I miss the good ol’ days watching crazy videos like this on MTV Asia when I lived in Korea. The video is funny enough on it’s own, but when you add the “that’s what I heard” subtitles it becomes comedy gold. :D

Not like it matters, but anyone want to tell us what the song is really about?

Thanks to “The Boy” for this one…

See the video after the jump.

Jumping Jacks of Doom!

Published by Conscious under funny

I normally don’t forward too many viral videos or jokes. I found a video a while back that absolutely makes me die laughing every time I watch it. In fact, the more times I watch it the harder I laugh. This is the infamous Iraqi jumping jack video.

Even if you’ve seen this before, take 5 minutes of your day and watch it properly. Properly is watching is 3+ times and focusing on a different “jumper” each time.

Video after the jump…

Railgun’s Retirement Plans

Published by railgun under satire

“Whoever said money can’t buy happiness simply didn’t know where to go shopping.” - Bo Derek

On Wednesday morning I decided that I have worked long enough and now I wish to retire.
There are simply to many other things I wish to do with my life for me to sit at my job and work my Mandatory 45 hours per week at a wage that is below market value for a company who really does not care about me or my well being.
